Volunteer Driver – The Kit Wilson Trust for Animal Welfare

The Kit Wilson Trust rescue and re-home unwanted animals, mainly cats and dogs, and have a wildlife rehabilitation program and an emergency helpline.

The Trust’s Rescue Centre is also home to horses, donkeys, cats, goats, birds and small mammals where, in the interest of their welfare, they remain in their care.

The Trust are seeking a volunteer to drive their VW van between their warehouse and three charity shops, distributing donations and other items. Part of the role will include loading and unloading as directed by retail and shop managers.

The role is one morning weekly, ideally on a Wednesday, picking up the van from their venue in Hadlow Down where there is space to leave your own car whilst volunteering. Applicants will need a full clean drivers license, and a reasonable level of fitness.
