Volunteer Gardener – Chailey Heritage Foundation

About this organisation
Living with complex disabilities can be overwhelming and isolating.
Our Charity is here for children and young people living with physical disabilities, complex medical and communication needs. We’re here to listen and explore life-changing possibilities together.
Our outstanding school, welcoming residential homes and bustling centre combining gym and art therapy, a farm and café create a thriving community of support. Our expert team dedicate time, patience and curiosity to nurturing the potential of every child and young person who comes to us.
By sharing our skills and expertise within and beyond our sector, more children and young people are able to benefit from our approaches.

Do you love nature and enjoy gardening? Join our friendly team and help create magical, sensory spaces for the young people at Chailey Heritage Foundation and their families to enjoy.
We have several unique gardens, including our beautiful Celebration Garden, specially designed as a sensory experience. These spaces offer moments of peace, connection, and joy—and we need your help to keep them thriving.
Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just enjoy being outdoors and getting your hands dirty, we’d love to welcome you!
