About this organisation
As one of the first preserved heritage lines in the country, we boast one of the finest collections of vintage steam locomotives and carriages, many of which were preserved directly from service on British Railways. Our historic line commenced services in August 1960 and today runs steam trains between Sheffield Park and East Grinstead, with stops at Horsted Keynes and Kingscote.

Our Sheffield Park Gift & Model Shop is looking for a volunteer retail assistant.
Are you great with people?
We need a motivated person to join our dedicated retail team!
Our gift shop at Sheffield Park Station welcomes visitors throughout the year, stocking books, gifts, toys, railway models and Bluebell Railway souvenirs.
- You would ensure our customers receive excellent customer service.
- You’d keep the shop area tidy and assist with stocking the shelves.
- You must be responsible, handling transactions and operating a till.
- You will also help with the admin and packing of internet orders.
Applicants should be dependable, motivated, and commercially minded.
There are various hours required including evenings and weekends.
