Waldron Car Show Stewards – Heathfield & Waldron Rotary Club

About this organisation
Heathfield and Waldron Rotary Club has been active in supporting local community good causes, and charities since its formation in 1946. During that period the club has raised and donated many thousands of pounds.
About this opportunity
The annual Waldron Car Show is taking place this year on Sunday the 10th of August, at Waldron Recreation Ground.
The Rotary Club are seeking stewards to ensure it runs safely and smoothly, allowing everyone to enjoy the huge range of classic cars on display (they are anticipating over 400 vehicles!). There are 11 areas requiring manning, and shifts will be for around 90 minutes. If you’d like you are welcome to have a break after a shift, take in the event before assisting further, it’s down to your availability.
As a steward you will need to be comfortable interacting with the public, and being on your feet outdoors for at least 90 minutes. Instructions will be given to volunteers on what they need to do.
Shifts start at 8:00am and run right through to 4:00pm.
This is a perfect opportunity for anyone who’s a bit of a car enthusiast, as well as anyone looking to volunteer for a one off occasion.
