Seated Exercises Volunteer – Headway Sussex

Headway Sussex provides reablement and support services for individuals affected by acquired brain injuries, as well as their family caregivers.

Their Living Well Programme offers a diverse range of activities aimed at personal well-being. This includes personalised support for achieving independence, tailored reablement and therapy sessions, client and caregiver group sessions, social and relaxation activities, as well as access to information and advice.

Are you passionate about supporting individuals with brain injuries?
Headway Sussex is seeking a volunteer to lead seated exercise sessions for our clients.

Seated exercises help improve strength, mobility, and well-being for our clients, many of whom face mobility challenges.

We’re looking for someone patient, encouraging, and enthusiastic to guide these sessions.

Training or experience in fitness, physiotherapy, or rehabilitation is a bonus, but kindness and dedication are most important!

Why Volunteer with Us?

  • Make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
  • Be part of a supportive community.
  • Gain valuable experience and skills.

A DBS check will be required for this role, however we will do this on your behalf.

This role takes place on a Wednesday afternoon, and a Friday morning, with any volunteers helping with either or both sessions depending on availability.
