Today we put the spotlight on East Sussex Hearing.East Sussex Hearing is an independent charity based in Eastbourne, supporting deaf, hard of hearing, and deafblind people across East Sussex. For over 20 years, the charity has provided practical advice, hearing support and communication services to help people stay connected, confident and involved in their communities. MUSEUM STEWARDS WANTEDHelp bring the Bluebell Railway’s history to life as a Museum Steward. Working as part of a friendly volunteer team, you’ll welcome visitors, answer questions, help people explore the exhibits and share stories about the railway and its heritage. This role is open to applicants aged 16 or over. An interest in railway history and good communication skills are helpful, but training will be provided. BEFRIENDING VOLUNTEERS NEEDEDFRow Friends are the befriending group for Forest Row, matching volunteer befrienders to older people who would like some regular company.
