Wealden Volunteering
We promote volunteering, supporting the charities that need volunteers. We also provide office services: laminating, copying, scanning + lots of useful local information. Come in and see us on Uckfield High Street, or at one of our pop-ups.
DIGITAL INNOVATION VOLUNTEER ROLE![]()

The Sussex Trug Heritage Centre is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to preserving and promoting the Sussex Trug industry, which is critically endangered. The centre aims to restart production of the Royal Sussex Traditional Trugs after a 18-month hiatus.![]()

They now seek a Digital Innovation Volunteer, this role has the same responsibilities as that of a Director.![]()

Living with complex disabilities can be overwhelming and isolating, and getting the right support can be challenging.![]()

For over 120 years, Chailey Hertiage Foundation has been dedicated to nurturing the potential of every child and young person they work with, who are living with multiple physical, medical and communication needs.![]()

They are a thriving community of support for them and their families.![]()
![]()
They now seek a Riding Volunteer, a role which involves:![]()

- Leading or side-walking with horses during hippotherapy sessions![]()
- Providing encouragement & support to riders![]()
- Helping with basic horse care, grooming & preparing for sessions![]()
- Working alongside therapists & equine specialists in a safe & inclusive environment.![]()

Note: Sessions are on Tuesday afternoons, from 12:45 to 3:00pm, term time only.![]()

At the Lewes House of Friendship, they believe in providing accessible, welcoming facilities for people over 50 and the wider community. Part of that commitment includes delivering freshly cooked hot meals to members who aren’t able to visit the House themselves.![]()

They now seek 3 volunteer delivery drivers, supporting their service on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.![]()

Requirements:![]()

- A full driving licence![]()
- Your own vehicle![]()
- An interest in supporting people in later life![]()
![]()
Full training and ongoing support provided.![]()
You will also be able to claim reasonable expenses, including car mileage at 45p per mile.![]()
