Wealden Volunteering
We promote volunteering, supporting the charities that need volunteers. We also provide office services: laminating, copying, scanning + lots of useful local information. Come in and see us on Uckfield High Street, or at one of our pop-ups.

Clued-Up are based on Crowborough high street. Their service is FREE and it’s just for young people between the ages of 11 and 25. You can visit them for information, advice and support, for just about anything - including: Education, Family & Relationships, Housing, Money, Employment & Training, Health, Justice & Equality, Sport, Travel and Leisure.![]()

NEW ROLE - BEFRIENDING 123 VOLUNTEERS![]()

Age UK East Sussex is an independent Charity working in East Sussex to offer support and services to older people. They want to make East Sussex a great place to grow older.![]()

They now seek Volunteer Befrienders. Their Befriending Service is a 26-week programme where you’re matched with one or more older people for weekly support,![]()
![]()
What you’ll do:![]()
![]()
• Provide a weekly chat for up to 26 weeks (min 1 hour per week)![]()
• Build supportive relationships with one or more older people![]()
• Offer telephone or face-to-face contact![]()
• Accompany clients to community groups or activities to support reconnection![]()
• Help identify support needs & signpost where necessary![]()
