Wealden Volunteering
We promote volunteering, supporting the charities that need volunteers. We also provide office services: laminating, copying, scanning + lots of useful local information. Come in and see us on Uckfield High Street, or at one of our pop-ups.
ENGINEER/DESIGNER/MAKERS SOUGHT![]()

REMAP is a national charity with 65 branches across the UK seeking to help disabled people to live the lives they choose.![]()

They now seek Engineer/Designer/Makers, to:![]()

- Design and make pieces of equipment for individuals with specific needs![]()
- Use practical skills working with metal, wood, plastics and/or control/electronics![]()
- Attend six-weekly meetings of the local branch.![]()
![]()
Please note: Any prospective new volunteers are taken through a detailed recruitment process to ensure that they know and understand the demands and commitment required of the work. New members will be joining an active and experienced team and will be supported through an induction process.![]()

SECOND-HAND BOOKSHOP VOLUNTEERS NEEDED![]()

Sheffield Park is a National Trust garden planted for dramatic impact celebrating the size and scale of the place. The 120-acre garden and lakes sit within the listed landscape.![]()

They now seek volunteers to help with the smooth running of the second-hand bookshop and assist with themed displays and promotions. ![]()

This role will suit you if you are …![]()

- Friendly, helpful and happy to handle money and use a till ![]()
- Enjoy a front facing role interacting with visitors![]()
- Happy to work![]()
- In love with books – even when they’re a little bit dusty! ![]()
- Keen to help each customer feel special and find something they like.![]()

There are both morning and afternoon shifts available for a Saturday.![]()
Role is only open to people aged 18 or over. ![]()
