From our base in the centre of Uckfield we provide support and advice, including information on local groups, photocopying/laminating services and a variety of training sessions across Wealden.

We promote volunteering, supporting the charities that need volunteers. We also provide office services: laminating, copying, scanning + lots of useful local information. Come in and see us on Uckfield High Street, or at one of our pop-ups.

MATCHDAY VOLUNTEERS NEEDEDAFC Uckfield Town was formed in July 2014, by a merger of Uckfield Town and AFC Uckfield, both clubs with a long-established history dating back to the 1800s.They're now recruiting match day volunteers to help with operating their home games, at The Oaks on Eastbourne Road.There are a wide range of jobs and roles on match days to make the occasion run smoothly including:- handling gate entries- food preparation- running the bar- general help around the groundMatches usually take place on Saturday afternoons, with the occasional midweek evening fixture, and run from late July through to early May. Today we put the spotlight on Ridgewood Village Hall.Ridgewood Village Hall, is situated in the south of Uckfield, next to the recreation ground near to the entrance of the Millennium Green. A very popular venue, used by many regulars throughout the year, as well as one off events.The hall is managed by a committee of volunteers as well as a member from Uckfield Town Council.
