Wealden Volunteering
We promote volunteering, supporting the charities that need volunteers. We also provide office services: laminating, copying, scanning + lots of useful local information. Come in and see us on Uckfield High Street, or at one of our pop-ups.

The Good Company People is a dementia-welcoming community organisation offering practical help, friendly groups & one-to-one support for people growing older.![]()

They now seek a Lead Host.![]()
![]()
As a Lead Host, you’ll:![]()
![]()
- work closely with the volunteer Host team to ensure Clubs and Circles are safe, inclusive, and provide joyful experiences for members![]()
- lead pre-briefings, ensure the team understands members’ needs, and oversee the flow of activities, refreshments, and interactions![]()
- keep an eye on how things are running, step in to support Hosts when needed, and make sure every member feels comfortable, seen, and supported![]()
- capture learning and feedback from each session to make the next one even better![]()

The Association of Carers provides free, volunteer-led support services to unpaid carers in East Sussex.![]()

They now seek volunteers to teaching basic IT skills, and guiding carers who aren’t quite as confident at using a computer and/or the internet through the actions they require.![]()

Mileage and expenses are paid for. Full training will be given.![]()
