A not for profit organisation dedicated to bringing arts and crafts to all ages and abilities. We do this via our scrapstore that supplies useful crafting materials to the public as well as organising art and craft activities in the community. We are currently fundraising to extend the scrapstore into an art and youth centre and applying for grant funding.
About this opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a treasurer. This is a role which would be ideal for anyone with bookkeeping or accountancy experience, however if you have the skills but are lacking the experience don’t worry, our current Treasurer will explain everything to you during the handover process.
As Treasurer you’ll be keeping our accounts up to date, and submit them to companies house each year. This is a position which will predominantly be performed remotely, requiring a meeting with the directors to finalise the accounts. The hours you work are to suit your schedule, and should not take up a lot of your time.
Any out of pocket expenses for this role will be reimbursed with prior agreement.
