Volunteer Gardener – Chailey Heritage Foundation

Our charity is a thriving community of support for children, young people and families living with complex disabilities. We believe that each child and young person, regardless of their disability, should have every opportunity to explore their potential and live their best life.

🌱 Help Our Gardens Grow – Volunteer with Us! 🌷
Chailey Heritage Foundation

Do you love nature and enjoy gardening? Join our friendly team and help create magical, sensory spaces for the young people at Chailey Heritage Foundation and their families to enjoy.

We have several unique gardens, including our beautiful Celebration Garden, specially designed as a sensory experience. These spaces offer moments of peace, connection, and joy—and we need your help to keep them thriving.

Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just enjoy being outdoors and getting your hands dirty, we’d love to welcome you!

Why volunteer with us?

🌼 Be part of a warm and welcoming community
🌞 Enjoy the benefits of fresh air, exercise, and shared purpose
🌻 Learn new skills or share your gardening know-how

The amount of time you volunteer is flexible. It is also dependent on the weather and time of year. The group of gardeners meet on Wednesday mornings, but other times are available.

Volunteers require an enhanced DBS due to working on site.
