Administrator for Medical Car Service – Age Concern Heathfield and District

Age Concern Heathfield provide a Medical Car Service to take the elderly and disabled to any medically related appointment. They also have minibus service which takes clients on regular trips to luncheon clubs and shopping. They arrange outings throughout the month, and also operate a Mens’ shed.

Age Concern Heathfield’s Medical Car Service is vital in helping patients get to their medical appointments. The administrator role ensures the smooth running of that service.

This role involves monitoring requests from clients for transport, which will be received by email. Following a request, you will contact a client to confirm receipt by telephone, before logging the trip on to a computerised calendar, and liaising with and arranging drivers.

You can perform this role from home. It requires a decent level of computer literacy and organisational skills.

All expenses will be covered by the charity. An advanced DBS check will be arranged by Age Concern Heathfield, full training will be provided. They ask that you can commit to 1-2 days a week for this role.
