St Peter & St James Hospice provides expert care to adults living with a life-limiting illness in our community. Situated in North Chailey, they cover the the whole of the surrounding area. Their support extends to friends and families too.
About this opportunity
Companion volunteers are there to assist both the carer and patient, offering their support and reassurance. Duties include attending home visits to help out with practical tasks, checking in on their well-being, and reporting and recording your visits with a carer.
They’re looking for friendly and approachable candidates, who are punctual, will adhere to the professional boundaries of the role, can work in a team, and are computer literate enough to email their reports and recorded information.
