Battle of the Bands Fundraiser – Artytime

About this organisation
A not for profit organisation dedicated to bringing arts and crafts to all ages and abilities. We save useful items from going to landfill by running a community scrapstore for members and the general public to visit. The store is full of art and craft items which they can take for their own projects.
We also have a focus on youth engagement, encouraging musicians too as an art form.
About this opportunity
We are hosting a Battle of the Bands over the summer at Crowborough Social Club (opposite Waitrose). The competition consists of three heats, the winners of which will progress to a grand final, with the overall winner offered a gig at the venue.
In total we’re looking for 9 bands of local talent to perform. These bands should have members aged between 11 and 25, but as long as someone in the band is in this age bracket it doesn’t matter if other members are older, giving the perfect opportunity for older family members and friends to support journeys into performing live music in front of an audience, whilst fundraising for a good cause, as this competition will be raising funds for the Jarvis Brook skatepark extension.
The heats will be held in Crowborough on Sundays during the day throughout August, with dates to be confirmed to accommodate holiday plans of potential participants, in the hopes of finding dates which are convenient.
