Activities Volunteers – Narconon UK

We are a Drug Education & Rehabilitation centre. We are an adult only rehab and we do not take any students under 18 years of age, so we do work with vulnerable adults. Our organisation has been going for 60 years, we are a non medical holistic drug free rehab centre, we also have a team of volunteers that do drug education lectures in schools to educate young minds on the dangers of taking drugs and help them to make their own educated choices. Our program is a residential rehab with students doing the program for a period of up to 4 months.

We are seeking volunteers who can assist with activities in our rehab centre, with a range open to volunteers:

  • A Gardening Club
  • Yoga Classes
  • Painting/Artwork Classes
  • Cooking/Baking Classes
  • Painting & Decorating Workshops
  • Woodwork Projects
  • Zumba Classes

The role involves assisting with an activity you’re familiar with that would help the student to learn new skills, enhance creative abilities or learn new creative abilities, and participate in rewarding activities. We would also be open to running other activities volunteers are knowledgeable about that would be beneficial to students.

These sessions will take place once a week at 6:30pm at our address just outside of Heathfield, with a member of our team on hand to help any volunteers. Volunteers must be aged 18+, with no upper age limit for this role, and no DBS is required.
