About this opportunity
Heathfield and Waldron Parish Council are seeking marshals to assist with road closures for Remembrance Sunday. This year the Sunday falls on November 8th, and you’ll only be needed for a morning, from 10:15am to 11:30pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to help make a difference with only a little of your time, keeping an important event safe for those attending and the atmosphere respectful.
The area being closed off will be between The Half Moon Pub on Cade Street, and All Saints Church in Old Heathfield.
Any volunteers will need to be comfortable speaking to the public, and being on their feet for a few hours.
This role is open to volunteers aged 16 or over, however those aged under 18 will be paired with an adult.
