About this opportunity
Heathfield and Waldron Parish Council are seeking marshalls to assist with road closures for Remembrance Sunday. This year the Sunday falls on November 9th, and you’ll only be needed for a morning, likely from 8am to 12pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to help make a difference with only a little of your time, keeping an important event safe for those attending and the atmosphere respectful.
The area being closed off will be between The Half Moon Pub on Cade Street, and All Saints Church in Old Heathfield.
Any volunteers will need to be comfortable speaking to the public, and being on their feet for a few hours.
