UDPS Charity Shop re-opens

The UDPS is delighted to announce that its charity shop in Uckfield High Street will re-open on Monday 21 April, in line with the Government’s road map for the relaxing of coronavirus restrictions.

Staff will wear PPE, and social distancing will be maintained.  Customers are expected to wear face masks, unless exempt for medical reasons, and to use the hand sanitizers that will be provided.

Our popular Uckfield Heritage range of upcycled items will be on sale, with more stock expected in coming days.

We are happy to accept donated items for sale at the shop itself (rather than in Bridge Cottage), so long as the available storage space allows.

If anyone would like to join our volunteer staff in the shop, or to upcycle donated items, please contact the shop on 01825 766958 – we will be delighted to hear from you.

More information about the resumption of Bridge Cottage Markets and Open Days at Nutley Windmill will be available shortly.
