Promoting the Volunteering Fair and IT recycling on Ashdown Radio

Popping in for a visit to our good friends at Ashdown Radio, our manager Judith was getting the word out about the Volunteer Fair we’re holding later this year.

Taking place on the 23rd of September at the Civic Centre in Uckfield, it will be raising awareness about volunteering, and providing information about the wealth of opportunities out there. All sorts of charities will be in attendance, setting up their own stalls to be on hand to answer any questions.

She was also able to speak about our IT recycling initiative, where should you have any old IT hardware, any piece of tech such as an old unwanted phone, drop them into our venue on the high street and we’ll send them off to our partner in Eastbourne to be repaired, refurbished or recycled. Devices which are made fit for use again will go to other charitable organisations and those in need.
