Volunteer Fair Photos

We had a fantastic day at the Volunteer Fair, where members of the public were able to speak one on one with the representatives of our local charities and learn about the wonderful opportunities available.

It was a brilliant chance to meet the members of so many important causes in our local area in one place, and our local MP Nus Ghani who was in attendance remarked as such. She toured the room, making sure to speak to every charity in attendance.

We saw a wide range of prospective volunteers popping in to learn more, with their ages ranging from young adults right through to retirees, showing how varied those seeking roles are.

Our own volunteer Louise took some smashing photos of the event, some of which went out on social media, but we wanted to publish more of them to show some of the terrific stands the charities put together, manned by their welcoming representatives. A huge thank you again to everyone who attended, it’s deeply gratifying seeing people take an interest in volunteering, and as a result of the event we’ve seen an increase in attention for some of our charity members.
