Wealden Volunteer Fair 2024

We had a wonderful time at the Volunteer Fair last week, welcoming many new faces who were curious to learn about some of the incredible charities in our area, and see if any sparked their interest!

Even the patchy weather couldn’t deter people, as numbers were up from 2023. We were also delighted to welcome the High Sheriff of East Sussex – Lucinda Faser DL, and Karen Bedwell the Uckfield Town Mayor.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, both those who were interested in finding out more, and the charities who put on a host of marvellous displays and were manned by outstanding representatives.

We hope with all the inquires, the day will result in some more volunteers finding perfect placements to give their time. Below are a selection of images from the day, our thanks again for all involved and we’re looking forward to next year!
