Cricket Social Media Volunteer – National Trust Sheffield Park and Garden

About this organisation
We protect and care for places so people and nature can thrive. Many millions share the belief that nature, beauty and history are for everyone. So we look after the nation’s coastline, historic sites, countryside and green spaces, ensuring everyone benefits.
About this opportunity
We’re looking for a Social Media Volunteer to promote Sheffield Park’s cricket pitch and matches, with its resident cricket team, the Armadillos, to digital audiences. It’s a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills with the largest conservation charity in Europe.
By getting involved, you could:
- Share the latest news about Sheffield Park and Garden cricket matches with the Armadillos on our social media platforms.
- Engage new and existing audiences with cricket matches at Sheffield Park and with the team.
- Assist and learn more about creating social media sports content for local, national and internal audiences.
- Use your creativity and skills to produce amazing images and videos.
- Join an enthusiastic and varied team and meet new people.
- Gain practical insight into the digital world of social media and content creation.
- Support Europe’s largest conversation charity and the wider National Trust team.
It will help if you’re IT literate and social-media savvy. Travel expenses to and from Sheffield Park will be reimbursed.
The volunteering will involve match days in the cricket season and time spent in the office, depending on when you’re posting. There may be the option of some home volunteering if you have your own computer/laptop. Start date will be as soon as you’ve had an informal interview, a taster/training session, and you have completed the short online volunteer training.
