About this opportunity
As a Community Fundraiser, you will support the fundraising team in running a variety of events and activities. This an opportunity to be part of the community and help change the lives of young people with disabilities.
What you will do
- Welcome event participants
- Speak to supporters about the work of the charity
- Serve refreshments
- Sell raffle or tombola tickets/lucky dips on a stall
- Marshall
- Cheer squad
- Bucket collector
- Help set up and clear down event
- Advertising our services and volunteering opportunities
What you will bring
- Enthusiasm and commitment
- Able to represent the charity in the community
- Willing to engage with donors and members of the public
Location and duration
- Some events might be on our site in North Chailey, but mainly in the community. We would like volunteers to help at least 1-2 times a year and hours can be ad hoc and flexible, mainly weekends and evenings.
- Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
