About this opportunity
This role involves volunteering on Saturdays at Bridge Cottage Heritage Centre during our open days, welcoming visitors and invigilating the exhibition spaces to help ensure the collections are cared for and visitors have an enjoyable experience.
Full training will be provided, so no previous museum experience is necessary. We’re simply looking for someone who is reliable, friendly, and has a genuine passion for history and local heritage. You will be taught how to operate the till if anyone purchases something from the gift shop. There are multiple opening for this position.
Volunteers must be aged 18+. Volunteer hours are on Saturdays from 10am-1pm. We ask that you can volunteer at least once a month ideally.
