Administration Team – Bluebell Railway

The Bluebell Railway is one of the UK’s leading heritage railways, operating steam and diesel trains between Sheffield Park, Horsted Keynes, Kingscote and East Grinstead. Run by over 1,000 volunteers, we work together to operate the railway, preserve historic locomotives, carriages and buildings, and provide memorable experiences for our visitors. Whether you have existing skills or simply want to learn something new, there are opportunities for everyone to get involved.

Help support the Chief Operating Officer with the administration and organisation that helps keep the railway running smoothly. This is a fun and varied in-person role, involving tasks such as organising information, preparing documents, keeping records up to date and helping with a range of administrative activities. It’s a great opportunity for someone who is organised, practical and enjoys getting involved in different things across the railway.

This is a very flexible role, with volunteers able to choose which days they would like to volunteer and how much time they would like to give. The role can be fitted around your existing commitments and availability.

Applicants must must be aged 18 or over. Good organisational and communication skills are helpful. Volunteers have access to a range of Bluebell Railway volunteer benefits.
