EarlyBird Cabaret Volunteers – FRow Friends
About the organisation
We are the befriending group for Forest Row and surrounded villages matching our volunteers with older people who would like a regular visitor. We also organise an afternoon cabaret for the over 70s in Forest Row every six months.
About the opportunity
On Thursday the 8th of October 2026 we will be hosting a cabaret event for our EarlyBird group at Forest Row Village Hall.
There are a few different types of volunteer roles for the event; social – waiting tables, kitchen help and making teas and coffees, back stage help (sound, curtains, lights), so there is plenty of variety for what to help with.
You will need to be steady on your feet as most of the time you will be standing or moving around, and we ask that volunteers are available from 12pm to 5pm for the duration of the event.
This event is scheduled to take place every six months – so this is an ad hoc opportunity, but you can volunteer just as a one off for our upcoming show, or with future cabarets also.
