Catering Team – Bluebell Railway

The Bluebell Railway is one of the UK’s leading heritage railways, operating steam and diesel trains between Sheffield Park, Horsted Keynes, Kingscote and East Grinstead. Run by over 1,000 volunteers, we work together to operate the railway, preserve historic locomotives, carriages and buildings, and provide memorable experiences for our visitors. Whether you have existing skills or simply want to learn something new, there are opportunities for everyone to get involved.

Join the Bluebell Railway’s catering team and help provide great food and service for our visitors. Working as part of a friendly volunteer team, you could be involved in serving customers, preparing food and drinks, working in our cafés or supporting catering at special events and dining services. This is an ongoing volunteer role with opportunities to get involved across different areas of catering.

Catering opportunities are available on different days and times depending on the location and type of catering. This can include daytime, evening and weekend opportunities, particularly during special events and dining services. Volunteers are able to choose the turns they wish to work making volunteer flexible and able to fit around your existing commitments.

This role is available to applicants aged 16 or over. Volunteers have access to a range of Bluebell Railway volunteer benefits.
