Phab Club Volunteer – Uckfield Phab

Uckfield Phab Club inspires disabled and non-disabled children, young people and adults to get together with friends and family for all kinds of activities and social events.

Once a month we host a session of our club where a variety of activities are available for young persons attending.

In order to help make these sessions a success we are looking for volunteers who can fill various positions. These include:

  1. A volunteer to assist at Club in our Tuck Shop. This will involve arranging the stock for the session, and helping the attendees with their transactions.
  2. A volunteer to assist with our social media. Any volunteers for this role will require a basic knowledge of social media. You’ll be helping to promote the monthly sessions and get the word out about upcoming dates, as well as post appropriate material from successful ones.
  3. Volunteers to assist at club with activities – bingo, arts and crafts, sports, table tennis, etc. This is flexible, with all kinds of activities provided. If you have experience or skills in a particular game or craft, or a special preference let us know, as we’d love to put those to good use.

Sessions normally run from 12:45pm until 4pm, and take place on one Saturday each month (usually the second Saturday of the month). A DBS check will be required which we will provide on your behalf.

This is a fantastic way to help create a monthly highlight for young persons in our community, whilst only giving a little of your time.
