Museum Management Support Team – Bluebell Railway Trust

About this organisation
As one of the first preserved heritage lines in the country, we boast one of the finest collections of vintage steam locomotives and carriages, many of which were preserved directly from service on British Railways. Our historic line commenced services in August 1960 and today runs steam trains between Sheffield Park and East Grinstead, with stops at Horsted Keynes and Kingscote.
About this opportunity
The Bluebell Railway Trust operates two museums at Sheffield Park Station. Both museums have more than 40,000 visitors a year. We are looking to form a team to support the Curator in running the museum. The team roles are hands-on, with duties very varied including repairs and maintenance, forming new displays, cleaning, training, recruitment, collection management to name a few.
You will be either working on your own or as part of a small team.
Due to Sheffield Park Station’s location you will need to have your own transport. There is no age limit.
