Customer Service & Administration Team – Bluebell Railway

The Bluebell Railway is one of the UK’s leading heritage railways, operating steam and diesel trains between Sheffield Park, Horsted Keynes, Kingscote and East Grinstead. Run by over 1,000 volunteers, we work together to operate the railway, preserve historic locomotives, carriages and buildings, and provide memorable experiences for our visitors. Whether you have existing skills or simply want to learn something new, there are opportunities for everyone to get involved.

Join our Customer Service & Administration Team and help provide a friendly and welcoming experience for our visitors. Volunteers support customers with enquiries, ticketing and general information, as well as helping with a range of administrative tasks behind the scenes. This is an ongoing volunteer role with a variety of opportunities, ideal for people who enjoy working with others and keeping things organised.

The Customer Service Office is open 7 days a week, with volunteers able to choose the day or days they wish to volunteer. This makes the role flexible and easy to fit around your existing commitments

This role is a mixture of customer-facing and administrative duties. Good communication and organisational skills are helpful, but full training will be provided. Applicants must be aged 16 or over for this position. Volunteers have access to a range of Bluebell Railway volunteer benefits.
