Treasurer – Ashdown Scouts
We are looking for a Treasurer to maintain the accounts for the District. This is a role which means you will responsible for all aspects of financial transactions, making sure to keep a proper record and all accounts up to date, as well as keeping the trustees informed. As a Treasurer you will also become a part of the board of trustees. This position will only require around 1-2 hours per week of your time as and when needed, and be performed remotely, so you can set your own hours to suit. There may be periods in the year where how much time is needed fluctuates such as towards the end of the fiscal year. A DBS check will be required, however Ashdown Scouts will organise this. This role is ideal for a retired accountant or bookkeeper looking to utilise their skills to benefit the community, or someone with relevant qualifications looking to gain some experience.
