We are seeking an assistant for our Baby and toddler group, which meets on a Monday morning. Volunteers are needed for a couple of hours, from 9am til 11am when the session finishes, with some additional cleaning up afterwards. No direct experience is necessary although some knowledge of this area of service would be a benefit, and an interest in helping the socializing and development of children. A DBS check will be required.
Volunteer drivers needed to take local residents to medical appointments in Buxted & Uckfield. These are short round trips, for which petrol expenses will be covered at £4 per round trip (45p per mile on average). Drivers must provide their own car and have a clean driver's licence. Trips will take place on weekdays only, between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm

This role would be carried out upstairs in their shop in Bell Walk, Uckfield. Working with other volunteers, you would help with sorting goods donated by members of the public and preparing them for sale in the shop. The role would not require contact with customers or members of the public. If you have sales or retail experience, that would be useful, but it is not a requirement.

Any applicants will need to be IT literate, and comfortable selling items online. This is a Respite Day Care Centre, providing a menu of well-being activities and support for those living in Sussex. The role is to support individuals with stimulating activities and to support with kitchen duties such as washing up, serving lunch, and supporting with general activities.
